Decanter - 94
Another 2015 with a floral scent of violets and roses along with a blood-like iron element, on a foundation of brisk blackcurrant fruit. The tell-tale minty top-note comes to the fore after aeration, and the juicy palate is both fleshy and fresh, sustained by racy tannins. It has a vibrant finish with a salty tang.
Vinous - 93
Intense and full of depth. Dark ruby. Meaty, bloody nose, with spicy, green herb, and black pepper. Rich and dark on the palate with plum, black cherry, and licorice flavors. Very fine, spicy tannins throughout. Lean, lithe and dark on the finish with a note of espresso. Looking forward to opening this up over a couple of years.

The vineyards are rooted in tuffeau limestone, often covered with sandy or clay-limestone topsoils, which provide both drainage and mineral tension. This terroir allows Cabernet Franc to ripen fully while retaining vibrant acidity and aromatic clarity.
